Your data

What we store

Your account (email, display name, settings), your generated, uploaded, and created learning resources (decks, cards, images), and your study history (every review and the scheduling state derived from it — that history is what makes spaced repetition work).

Documents and spreadsheets you build decks from are kept as sources: beyond generating the cards, they ground AI explanations, card variants, and improvements to your decks over time. You can remove any source whenever you like — it is deleted from our systems immediately, persisting only in backups until those age out. Content is sent to AI providers only to power these features; their terms with us do not permit training on it.

What we don’t

We don’t sell your data, and we don’t show ads. Decks you haven’t shared are not visible to other users.

Our team can access stored content, and may do so to troubleshoot a problem, to investigate suspected abuse, or when required by law.

Yours to take or destroy

From the account menu you can export your complete data as a single archive at any time, or delete your account — deletion is immediate and permanent: cards, decks, review history, uploads, everything.

Where it lives

Data is stored with established cloud infrastructure providers, encrypted in transit, with automated backups for disaster recovery. Backups of deleted data age out with the provider’s retention window.
